My position as a curatorial intern allowed me to gain insight into the research and work it takes to curate an exhibition. As an anthropology major, contributing to the narratives and future mission of the museum is something I will take with me as I look for opportunities after graduation. The staff have been supportive and given me projects where I can focus on promoting consent and forming good relationships with Indigenous communities.
