American, Army and аIJʿª½±½á¹û finished the regular season with matching 5-1 records and after a series of tiebreakers, American was named the host school for the tournament. The Eagles earned the right to host because they hold a small advantage over Army and аIJʿª½±½á¹û in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings.
The Raiders finished the regular season 12-7 and 5-1 in the Patriot League. аIJʿª½±½á¹û defeated both Navy and American during the regular season, but fell to Army.
