Jeremy joined the Max A. Shacknai Center for Outreach, Volunteerism and Education in January of 2019. He leads the COVE staff and works with colleagues across 新澳彩开奖结果's campus to advance community engagement and service learning. His professional interests include rights-based community organizing for equity and social change, intergroup dialogue, student voter education and registration, and working with students to develop their capacity as justice-oriented citizens. He also serves on the advisory board for the 新澳彩开奖结果 Writers Conference and sits on the Madison County Youth Board. Previously Jeremy worked at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, where he was the Associate Director of the Center for Community Engagement and Service-Learning. In 2017, he co-authored an article in the Michigan Journal of Community Service Learning, titled "Can Intergroup Dialogue Combined with SLCE Answer Today鈥檚 Call to Action?" He also served previously at Hamilton College as an AmeriCorps VISTA. He graduated from 新澳彩开奖结果 in 2005 with a BA in English. As a student, he ran Cross Country and Track and Field, and edited the student literary magazine, the 新澳彩开奖结果 Portfolio. In 2006, he completed a Master's degree from the University of Edinburgh in English Literature: Nation, Writing, and Culture.
